Limited Licensed Psychologist
(269) 327-7632 + Ext. 21

Specialty Areas: For the past 15 years my work has focused on the consequences of loss and trauma. I also work with issues of relationship, aloneness and spirituality. I offer EMDR, Internal Family Systems and meditation as components of therapy to enhance healing and transition.
Education/Experience:
  • Master's degree in 1988: Human Resources Development
  • Master's degree in 1995: Counseling Psychology
    • Gryphon Place Help-line Coordinator 1987-1991
    • New Directions therapist treating substance abuse issues 1984-1987
    • Private practice therapist since 1991
Treatment Philosophy: I very much believe in a client-centered model of therapy. I operate on the principle that change occurs through greater awareness and that the task of therapy is to provide an environment that allows for greater empowerment and deeper self-responsibility. I believe that this facilitates lasting, positive change.
