• Masters degree in Clinical Psychology in 1978
• Specialist Certificate in Drug and Alcohol in 1978
• Doctorate in Counseling Psychology in 1993
• 5 years experience in an inpatient hospital setting with both psychiatric and substance abuse clients
• 20+ years experience in private practice in an outpatient setting
• Focus and therapy with eating disorders since 1984

Treatment Philosophy: I view counseling as a collaborative process in which therapist and client work together to actively deal with the presenting issues. I may suggest readings, certain ways to approach situations, or specific ideas for change, depending upon the need of the client.
