Education/Experience: Ph.D in social work in 1988. Masters Degree in clinical social work in 1977. Bachelor of Science in music 1969 (voice). Associate Professor, Western Michigan University, School of Social Work 1986-present. Past president of Colleagues International. Past president Lakeside Treatment and Learning Center. Elder at North Presbyterian Church.
Treatment Philosophy: I believe every person has the capability to grow and discover new and exciting ways of being in the world. My passion is to partner with others in this process of discovery in a supportive, respectful way, utilizing an approach that is centered and authentic.
