Specialty Areas: Jennifer’s approach is holistic in nature. She recognizes the relationship between the mind and body and employs both to manage stress, anxiety, and depression and to ignite the body’s own capacity for healing. Those struggling with chronic, physical issues including illness, disease, weight management, and pain will benefit from Jennifer’s approach. Jennifer also has experience working with adolescents and Attention Deficit Disorder.

Education:
  • Masters in Applied Psychology 1998, Georgia College and State University
  • Currently completing a Doctoral degree in Counseling, Western Michigan University
  • Graduate Study in Holistic Health, 2000-2003, Western Michigan University
  • Training in Biofeedback, 2006, Western Michigan University
  • Training in bodywork, yoga and meditation, 1998-present

Treatment Philosophy: I believe that within each of us is an innate capacity to heal, find more joy and alleviate suffering. I see my role as a counselor to provide a safe container in which this work can be done.
