Specialty Areas: I specialize in working with depression and anxiety, as well as parenting stress, relationship difficulties, and women’s issues such as life transitions, self-identity concerns, and post-partum stress/depression. I work with adults and adolescents in individual, couple, and group therapy.

Treatment Approach: My therapeutic approach emphasizes developing a warm, collaborative relationship with the client to allow us to develop clear goals. I focus on helping the client evaluate the effectiveness of his/her current way of being, alter patterns as needed to reach life goals, and move toward self and other acceptance and a life lived in accordance with his/her values. I use a mix of change-oriented strategies including cognitive-behavioral, problem-solving, and communication effectiveness, as well as acceptance-based strategies such as emotion awareness, values clarification, and mindfulness.
