Specialty Areas: For the past 25 years my work has focused on the consequences of loss and trauma. I also work with issues of relationship addiction, co-dependency, aloneness, and spirituality. I offer EMDR, Internal Family Systems and meditation as components of therapy to enhance healing and transformation.

Education/Experience: Master’s degree in 1988: Human Resources Development, Master’s degree in 1995: Counseling Psychology, Private practice therapist since 1991. Level II EMDR certification, Two year training in Spiritual Guidance, Advanced Training in Internal Family Systems, Critical Incident Stress Debriefing.

Treatment Philosophy: My work is influenced by almost 40 years of study of Eastern thought and meditation practice. I see therapy as a collaborative process designed to create change through awareness. The task is to create a trusting relationship that allows for greater empowerment and deeper self-responsibility. My approach is to assess for strengths and cultivate those while diminishing maladaptive patterns of thought and behavior.
